2010 Presentation Day and AGM
Dont miss our last event for the
year to be held at Griffith Park, September 19th 2010 at 10am. A BBQ
and drinks will be available togethe with a fantastic jumping castle.
Each player will receive an end of season gift and trophies will be
presented to teams and players reaching 50, 100, 150 and 200 game
status.
The AGM will require a number of new committee persons - so please
consider volunterring.
U13s win Plate Grand Final
Congratulations to our U13As who
won the plate grand final game. In a close scoring game the Cougars
came out on top 17 - 14.
Unfortunately our combined Collaroy/Newport U16As had to settle for the runners up.
Cougar's 40th Anniversary Ball
A fantasic evening was held by 220 past and present
Cougar Supporters. Congratulations and a big thanks must go to the
organising committee.
Highlights of the evening included:
- The fantasic
DVD highlighting the clubs past 40 years - with congratulations from Wallaby players, Robbie Deans
and ex Collaroy local Fatty
Vautin,
- The
introduction of Greg Black
and Jasmin Hadzipasic as
Life
Memebers,
- A presentation
to long term sponsor and supportor Steve Doyle from Doyle Spillane Real Estate,
- Richard Finch bidding $2000
for a custom made Cougar's 40th surfboard,
- Past players
of 2003 and 2005 Opens team dancing with their mothers,
- Tim Helman's attempt at a
dance move resulting in a broken front tooth, and
- The Jelly Bean Jam band who had
nearly everyone on the dance floor.

week-end retreat will be held at the NSW Academy of Sport, Narrabeen on
